Friday afternoon Yacht Racing
During select Fridays throughout the year, the NZ Sailing Trust enters the yachts in the RNZYS harbour series ‘Rum Races’ held on Auckland Harbour. Join the crew for a Rum Race aboard the legendary Steinlager 2 or Lion New Zealand! An awesome and exhilarating experience to celebrate the end of the working week.

The Friday afternoon race is a fun 2-3 hour short, sharp and social race against other yachts departing and arriving from the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
After racing you will receive one complimentary drink voucher to join the rest of your crew at the Squadron for the prize-giving party - time to recount your daring deeds!
